I have been using a cheep pair from a the orange BBS that I were stiff to open and would cut into the wire while striping after receiving these no cutting into the solid wire or cutting loose strands they cut great strip great open and close with ease

Ah Klein. You can’t go wrong with them.I’m a diesel mechanic, but my dad runs his own electrical business. So I’m very familiar with electrical tools, especially Klein. I like that this tool is just like a regular pair of strippers, and the crimping teeth are behind the pivot point. All the other mechanics I work with have Snap On strippers that have the crimping teeth before the pivot point and the stripping teeth behind it. I don’t like that setup as I’m used to regular strippers, and these are $35 cheaper than Snap On. “But Snap On warranties their strippers.” Yeah, but not against normal wear. They’d have to last 2.5x longer than Klein’s to make it worthwhile. Plus, both Snap On and Klein are made in USA.Don’t read this and think I hate Snap On, because I actually own a few of their tools, and they’re “supoib.” With that said, I won’t buy anything from Snap On because sometimes I can’t justify their high prices.This is my second pair of these exact strippers. I don’t care much for them when I’m doing electrical work, but I love them for mechanic work. Will buy another when these wear out.

These are my go-to crimpers and strippers. Unlike many other brands and models, the crimper is on the “inside” of the pivot, and the stripper is on the “outside”, making both jobs considerably easier. And the screw cutters are a real time saver.

Crazy sharp, good pliers, the wire stripping is easy and a clean cut every time.The crimping could be improved on a bit, maybe a more oval shape option alongside the others so I don’t punch through insulation or connectors during a crimp.Otherwise, Highly Recommended.
